In the forest of Painpont France at night in an uncultivated field there is a set of two large stones suddenly the set is surrounded by a halo of light the set of stones begins to emerge from the ground about a metre high the set begins to spin to end in a large luminous ball on this night of full moon without warning from the ball of electrified fire arises a human hand.

Brocéliande comic strip page 2 At the edge of the forest, the electrified ball shoots lightning bolts in all directions. At the foot of the ball, a human body has fallen from the ball. It is a man of a certain age. He struggles to his feet, his back to the ball. Suddenly, the man turns around. A man's hand emerges from the ball grabs the old man by the throat. He struggles and, breaking free, falls backwards. Against the light, he can see a man's silhouette approaching him. The old man says to him, ‘What are you doing here?...’

Brocéliande comic strip, page 3: the eyes of the black silhouette stare intently at the old man, who stands up. The old man says, ‘You had no right to follow me!’ and continues, ‘...You are not...’ ‘But who are you?’ The black figure replies, ‘I am...’ but we cannot hear the rest of what the black human figure says to the old man. His reply is drowned out by the thunderous sound of a clap of thunder. Close-up of the old man's face as he cries out, ‘No!!! You're lying...’ ‘Let me go... Let me go!!!’ He then suddenly clutches his heart and collapses, struck down by a heart attack in the pouring rain. The black figure grabs his ankle and drags him along a winding path the forest of Painpont in Brocéliande and disappears. We remain near the ball of fire, which returns to the stele formed by two large stones at the beginning of our story. Night falls over the scene, illuminated only by the full moon, as if nothing had happened.

Panel 1 of the comic strip Émeline's Dream, a two-panel story recounting the abduction and imprisonment of a young girl by a cruel feline creature in the legendary era of knights, wizards and other heroic fantasy characters. The creature, a matagot cat in its castle, threatens a knight with killing the young girl, who is in fact the knight's daughter, if he does not kill the dragon that stole the matagot king's treasure of gold. Plate 2 of the comic strip Le rêve d'Émeline begins as follows: the knight rides off at full speed on his proud steed to slay the treasure-stealing dragon.

Panel 2 of the comic strip Émeline's Dream in 2 panels: The famous captive girl wakes up in the present day in a hospital bed with a whole bunch of machines connected to her body. She thinks of her father, an old book about legendary knights at the foot of her bed. The girl falls asleep again and the knight continues on his way.
